R-410A
HFC blend
Composition: blend: R-32 / R-125
Operates at roughly 60% higher pressure than R-22 and therefore requires equipment designed for it. Dominant in split air conditioning from the 2000s onwards.
What this means for you
This refrigerant is subject to an annual import quota that shrinks on a set schedule. Equipment may continue to operate, but topping it up will become more expensive over the years.
Split and multi-split air conditioning.
